Sunday School lesson for 4/23

Greetings,

As I begin to get back into the grove of posting Sunday School lessons, I'd like to first take a moment to thank God for the various changes taking place in my life! I got married in December of 2016, and my beautiful wife Brittany is carrying wonderful Son, Colin Jr. Its very hard to believe at times, but I'm grateful for what God has entrusted me with over these past few months. Tomorrow's Sunday School lesson is taken from the book of Romans. The lessons begins in chapter 5 verse 1, "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,  through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope." I love how the Bible pieces all of this together. We go through things to make us stronger!

The lesson then goes to Romans 8:31-39. "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."  Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Powerful set of scriptures!
I look forward to getting back in the grove of personal study and working on these lessons! Thank you Lord for everything! Your grace is everlasting.

God bless!
